Create Certificates of Destruction (CoD) with ease using a scanner that efficiently documents, verifies, and manages media. Store each drive’s barcode information in your asset management system for secure, automated reporting.

Setting a new benchmark in data management and secure documentation, the MediaVision Scanner API can connect to any management system, operating automatically, to register each disk before its destruction.  In cases of drive read failure, a handheld scanner ensures complete and accurate media processing.

  • Automated scanning of all hard drive barcodes
  • Connects directly to your Asset Management system to securely store the information
  • Automatic handling of unrecognized media. If the scanner fails to read the disk label, the disk will be ejected from the eject port, and the disk will not be logged as received.
  • Scanner physically receives and captures the disk, scans barcodes, and securely passes the disk to the crusher.
